Harrison Street Books is an independently owned bookstore. Harrison Street Books in an independently owned bookstore. Owners, Peggy Neviaser and Aly Valentine live in the community in which they work. They care deeply about their community and want to make a difference. |

Peggy holds a Master’s Degree in reading and has extensive teaching experience. She has worked with students from Kindergarten through college. Peggy has been active in community events, recently completing a 10 year volunteer commitment with Habitat for Humanity of Talbot County. |

Aly holds a Master’s degree in Education. She has had extensive experience in the social work sector, higher education and a private education-based consulting practice. Aly serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of Talbot and Dorchester Counties, a Member of the Board of Directors for Girl Talk: Read to Achieve. She also teaches in the Stephen Ministry Program at Christ Church, St. Michaels. |
